PRIVACY POLICY
Phase 23 · Version 2.3 · Last updated 8 November 2026
1. What this policy covers
This policy describes information handled by Warden Hub version 2.3. Warden Hub is designed as a free tool. It does not sell personal information and does not include advertising or analytics tracking in this release.
2. Information processed
- Discord sign-in: Discord user ID, username, optional global display name and avatar identifier, received through Discord's identify permission.
- Login security: a random session identifier is stored in a secure browser cookie; only a SHA-256 hash of that identifier is stored in the authentication database. Short-lived OAuth state records are used to protect the login flow.
- Community reports: report category, title, page, map/theme, description, optional device/browser text, impact level, status and submission time.
- Abuse prevention: a hashed representation of the connecting IP address and the time of the latest report submission may be stored to enforce a short rate limit.
- Browser preferences: theme, font, display mode, text size, spacing, map atmosphere and background selection are stored in browser local storage.
- Optional background images: if you choose a DayZ background image, your browser requests that image from dayz.com or store.bistudio.com. That image host may receive your IP address and standard browser request information.
- Tool data: data saved by tools may remain in that browser's local storage. It is not automatically synchronised between devices.
3. Why information is used
Information is used to authenticate your Discord account, maintain your signed-in session, protect report submission from basic abuse, display community reports, respond to support requests and retain browser preferences or saved tool work.
4. Where information is stored and shared
Authentication records and community reports are stored in the website operator's configured Cloudflare D1 database. Browser preferences and locally saved tool data remain in your browser. Discord is contacted to complete sign-in and retrieve the basic profile information allowed by the identify scope.
Community reports are publicly readable on the website unless hidden or removed by the operator. Do not include confidential information in a report. Warden Hub does not intentionally publish your Discord access token; OAuth access tokens are used to retrieve your profile and are not retained by the website.
5. Third-party services
Some website pages load external resources. The Interactive Map loads the dzbot map SDK and map data. The site stylesheet requests fonts from Google Fonts. Discord is used for account sign-in. Optional DayZ background images load from dayz.com or store.bistudio.com. The website also links to external references such as DayZ Wiki and service documentation.
When your browser contacts an external provider, that provider may receive your IP address, browser details and the requested resource. Those providers operate under their own privacy policies. Warden Hub does not control their data practices.
Cloudflare hosts the website and configured database. Nitrado is contacted server-side only when a visitor deliberately uses the Nitrado workspace and supplies a token for that session.
6. Retention and deletion
Login sessions are configured to expire after 30 days. OAuth state records are short-lived and expire after 10 minutes. Community reports may remain in the public report board until the operator hides or removes them. The latest rate-limit timestamp for a hashed network address is retained for basic abuse prevention. It is not displayed publicly.
You can request help with a report or account-related data through the support Discord. Include the report title or approximate submission date, but never send passwords or tokens. Browser-local data can be cleared using the relevant tool or your browser's site-data controls.
7. Security
The website is designed to use HTTPS, secure HttpOnly session cookies, hashed session identifiers and server-side secrets for Discord OAuth. No online system can guarantee absolute security. Never share your Discord credentials, Nitrado token or other secrets in a report or support channel.
8. Children and privacy
Warden Hub is a general community tool, not a service designed to collect children's personal information. Do not provide personal details that are not needed to use the website. If you are under the age of majority where you live, involve a parent or guardian before sharing personal information online.
9. Changes and contact
This policy may change as features are added. The version and update date appear above. Contact support through Contact & Support.
